If you don’t try, you won’t fail.

 

A failure doesn’t define your venture... Unless you stop there. Abraham Lincoln said, “My great concern is not whether you have failed, but whether you are content with your failure.”

Since the birth of Volo, we have had successes and learned from some failures (which were big in our books, but in the grand scheme of things, just a misstep).

Through our intensive interviewing process, we hired the right developers, Backbone Technology, which developed Volo from our vision, helped create the brand Volo, and made the website into more than we'd imagined.

 

We recently spent a significant amount of money on a Facebook ad company, which brought us no return other than some brand awareness. We've learned that there's no one better to promote your business than yourself, so we are learning to do it ourselves and will invest in other avenues besides Facebook ads in our journey to becoming mainstream.

 

We are now investing in a professional business plan, which we realize now that we should have done in the first place, near the birth of Volo. Included in this business plan are projected revenues over the next 1 - 5 years and detailed marketing strategies. We will be approaching investors with this in order to make Volo grow faster (to meet our first year goal)!

 

Everyone loves the concept of Volo and it is growing slowly. It's been an upward grind. We believe that every obstacle is meant for us and that great success comes to those who overcome all their obstacles.
